Automatically follow up with leads who go quiet
A scheduled automation checks your chats and nudges anyone who hasn't replied — politely, capped, and only in business hours.
Recipe
-
New Automation → template "Unanswered customer follow-up".
-
Instructions (example):
Check my direct messages. For anyone who asked about my products and hasn't replied to my last message in 12+ hours, send ONE short friendly follow-up referencing what they asked. Max 3 follow-ups per person (12 hours, 2 days, 5 days). Only 9 AM–9 PM. Stop permanently if they reply or say not interested.
-
Trigger: On a schedule — e.g., daily at 11 AM and 6 PM.
-
Scope: All my direct messages, with exclusions.
-
Capability: Read & send.
Why this works
Follow-ups that reference the actual conversation convert far better than generic "any update?" messages.
