Getting started

Create your first automation

An automation is plain-English instructions plus a trigger — you describe what to do, when, and in which chats.

Walk through the New Automation form

  1. Pick a template or start blank. Templates include:
    • Daily team recap
    • Unanswered customer follow-up
    • Auto-reply to pricing questions
    • Morning standup nudger
  2. Give it a name you'll recognise later.
  3. Write instructions in plain English — what to do, when, and in what tone.
  4. Attach files the agent can send (optional): images, video, PDF. Max 20 MB per file.
  5. Choose one trigger:
    • On a schedule — e.g., every weekday 9 AM.
    • When a chat message matches — describe the kind of message, e.g., "someone asks about pricing".
  6. Choose where it works: one chat / all group chats / all direct messages / all chats. Add exclusions if needed.
  7. Toggle capabilities you want the automation to have.
  8. Save.

Tip

Start with one chat and Read & send while you're testing. Once it behaves the way you want, widen the scope.
